First of all, we would like to take this chance to say that the thoughts of the Baby Plus team are with everyone in this time of great difficulty and especially to everyone who’s directly been affected by the Corona virus COVID-19. We are proud of society to stand together in this time of need and want to express our gratitude to everyone who’s helping direct and indirect to fight off this pandemic. We trust that together we will overcome this hard time. Baby Plus strictly follows the regulations and advices set by the RIVM and is taking extra measures to protect the health of our customers and employees. On this page you’ll find more information on how Baby Plus is handling the situation around the Coronavirus COVID-19.
As of 1 May the Baby Plus store in Hoorn is reopened in its adapted form with adjusted opening hours. As of 17 April the Baby Plus store in Haarlem is reopened in its adapted form with adjusted opening hours. The store floor contains separation markings to indicate the 1,5 meters distance and direction signs for the advised shopping route throughout our store. Our store employees will keep their distance from customers, will work from behind a glass partition and follow the safety measures set out by the RIVM.

Our webshop is extremely busy! Thank you very much for that. We would want to ensure you with the information that online orders will continue to be processed the way you’re used to. The supply of our warehouse is ongoing as always, our employees are there to process your order and our delivery services are active to deliver all parcels to your home. The return and cancellation of orders is the same as you’re used to. Due to the high amount of website visitors and online orders it could take a bit longer for your order to be completed. We are doing everything we can to keep up with demand and make sure you receive your order within the communicated delivery time.
Baby Plus is taking extra measures in hygiene for our stores, office and warehouse.

our store contains separation markings, shopping routes and glass partitions
our employees are well-informed about hygiene measures to prevent the spreading of the corona virus. At this moment Baby Plus employees:
will not shake hands
keep 1,5 m. distance between themselves and others
wash their hands regularly with soap
cough and sneeze in the inside of their elbow
employees with symptoms related to the Corona virus and/or common cold will stay home
employees who can work at home will do so
employees will minimize contact with each other
our carriers take extra hygiene measures and will deliver with no-contact
Responsible shopping is done by following the guidelines set out bij the RIVM:
A maximum of 14 customers (Hoorn) and 6 customers (Haarlem) are allowed to enter the store at the same time. Please wait your turn outside.
Keep a distance of 1,5 meters from other customers and our store employees.
Do your shopping preferably alone.
Do your shopping with a goal oriented mind and try not to linger.
Do not visit our stores when you’re experiencing symptoms related to the Corona virus.
Try to only touch items in our store which you want to purchase.
Please follow our employees instructions at all time.
Pay with PIN or mobile as much as possible.
The use of a shopping basket is obligated. If there are no shopping baskets at the moment please wait until one’s available.
Our customer bathroom is temporarily closed.
Maternity clothes are temporarily unavailable.
Try and buy the right size of clothing for your little one right away to prevent yourself to have to return to the store later on.
Shopping baskets are cleaned by our employees after each use.
Will my online order be completed as usual?
Yes! The Baby Plus webshop runs at full speed. At the moment we’re experiencing an increase in online orders – thank you for that. Because we and some of our suppliers and carriers have new challenges it may take a bit longer for you to receive your order. We try to keep you posted if this happens.
Can I return/exchange an item I purchased in a Baby Plus store before it closed?
Items purchased in one of our Baby Plus stores can be returned/exchanged up until a period of 14 days after our stores open again. Make sure to bring your receipt and keep the purchased item in its original state including its packaging.
I’ve reserved an item in one of the Baby Plus stores before it closed. What will happen with my reservation?
Your reserved item will stay reserved. You can choose to pick it up after our stores open again or choose to send the item by parcel post. Parcel post in The Netherlands for orders above €30,- is free of charge. For orders below €30,- you are charged €6,95 of shipping costs. When your reserved item has not been paid for yet, we can send you a payment link to complete your payment.
How can I claim warranty now it’s advised to stay at home as much as possible?
When one your purchased items show a defect within the warranty period make sure to contact our customer service. We recommend sending an email to [email protected] with your receipt/invoice and a picture and/or video of the defect. When the defect is considered to be covered by the warranty Baby Plus will process your claim together with the manufacturer. We will ask you to send the item via post.
