Baby bath moment checklist

Have all bath accessories ready before your little one takes a bath. You don’t want your baby to get cold and running away during the bath is not an option! The first bathing moments with your baby seem to be quite an undertaking. Use the bath accessories checklist below to get you started. Good preparation is half the job.

1. Before bathing:

• Before bathing, get off that dirty diaper. Use a handy wipe box while changing, throw the dirty diaper in the diaper pail and put your little one in a bath poncho or bathrobe against the cold.

2. Bathing:

• Both the room and the water must be at a pleasant temperature. A bath thermometer is an essential bath accessoiry to check whether the water is between 36 and 38 degrees.

• A bath insert ensures that your child is well supported during bathing.

3. Washcloths:

• Washcloths come in different shapes and sizes. Use quick-drying, hydrophilic washcloths for your baby’s delicate skin. With a cheerful washcloth with a face or animal head, you can turn every bathing moment into a real party! While showering, use a long washcloth. This bath accessory gives you extra grip while holding your baby.

4. Bath care:

• Pat the baby hairs dry with a soft towel or hydrophilic diaper. Gently comb with the comb or run the special brush through the hairs.
• Depending on the time, brush your little one’s teeth immediately after bathing. With a finger toothbrush, your child can already practice brushing. Use a step when your child brushes independently.
