Buy a complete nursery

Nowadays you buy complete nurseries form one collection. A 3-part nursery set consists of a crib, a dresser and a wardrobe. Do you have a small nursery and are you able to manage with the storage space of the dresser? Then a 2-part nursery set will do just fine. When buying all basic furniture from the same series, you create peace and unity in the room. If the nursery is already quite basic, it’s also possible to choose real eye-catching furniture.

Crib – 60×120 cm. or 70×140 cm.

With a complete nursery, you often have a choice in size of the crib. Are you going for 60×120 cm. or do you choose an extra large format of 70×140 cm.? The extra large crib, or cot bed, can be converted into a toddler bed as well. When your child is big enough and is able to get in and out of the bed by itself, you remove one side of the bed bench. Your toddler still sleeps in his own bed, which makes this switch a little less exciting.

Dressers

A dresser is the place where your baby is dressed and changed. Because parents repeatedly roll up their sleeves here on a daily basis, it should mainly be a practical place. It’s ideal when there is space under the changing table to slide your feet under. This way you get extra close to your little one. In combination with the height of the dresser, you don’t have to bend and prevent back problems. To avoid unpleasant situations, you never want to leave your baby alone on the changing table! Therefore it’s super convenient to place all necessary items in the storage space of the dresser. This way you’ll have everything you need at hand. This dresser is usually provided with several drawers, doors or storage compartments. It’s also possible to create extra space by placing a wall shelf with storage baskets. Add a barrier to your dresser to make changing even more easy and safe. You ensure that the changing mat doesn’t move and that your child is lying right in front of you. The raised edges provides extra safety when your child makes unexpected movements.

Wardrobe

A wardrobe is only supplied with a complete 3-part nursery set. Usually the 2-door wardrobe is chosen, but there’s also an option for a 3-door wardrobe. Perfect if you love shopping or just need more storage space of course.
