You’re never too young to learn

The Netherlands is a cycling country, so you can’t start early enough. Because you’re never too young to learn. That is why you will find bicycles and tricycles at Baby Plus that can be used from one year old. In addition, most models are in height adjustable, so that they grow with your child and last a long time.

Why a bicycle/tricycle?

A tricycle is good way to get your little one used to the movement of cycling. Your child doesn’t have to keep balance yet, but is already practicing with the pedaling movement and/or steering. Moreover, a tricycle is of course a fantastic toy, before you know it your little driver will be racing across the room. When your child is between two and three years old (this varies per child), he is ready for the switch to a bicycle with two wheels. With most types it is even possible to convert your tricycle into a bicycle. Below are a number of advantages of bicycles/tricycles:

• There is no nicer toy – playing with bicycles and tricycles is never boring. Carefully start indoors at first, but soon they need more space and move to the garden or sidewalk.
• Improves the motor skills – by playing with the bicycles/tricycles, your child trains his motor skills. In addition, eye-hand coordination is stimulated.
• Prepared for a real bike – By practicing with a bicycle/tricycle, your child will be prepared for a real bicycle. This makes the switch to a ‘big’ bicycle a lot easier.
