Are you going for a crib in 60×120 cm. or do you choose an extra large format of 70×140 cm.? The extra large crib, or cotbed, can be converted into a toddler bed. When your child is big enough and can get in and out of the bed by itself, remove the lowest side of the bed bench. Your toddler still sleeps in his own bed, which makes this switch a little less exciting.
