Why a good mattress is so important

Sleep is very important for your baby. It helps to process all the stimuli of the day, but it also plays a role in the development and growth of your child. To find the right mattress, it is wise to keep the following points in mind:

• A (baby) mattress must fit snugly in the crib or crib. There should be no more than 2 cm. space between the mattress and the sides of the bed.
• It shouldn’t be too soft, as your child’s face may sink and may not be able to breathe.
• The mattress must be at least 8 cm. thick.
• Do not take a mattress with a plastic cover. Plastic gets very hot and does not ventilate.
